How to get here by air:

The following airlines operate regular direct services to Geneva:

Duo (from Edinburgh).

It is possible to book a coach to Samoëns from Geneva International airport. If your require airport transfers, we recommend Geneva Airport Transfers.

How to get here by car:

From the UK you can choose to cross the Channel from:

• Folkestone via the Eurotunnel.
• Dover by ferry e.g. P&O Ferries.
• Dover by Speed Ferries.

Form Calais, traveling times are approximately of 8-10 hours. If you would like further information on route planning, please call for precise directions. However, from the A40 Motorway (Geneva/Chamonix) you have two choices:

• Option1: Exit A40 at Cluses - Scionzier n°18 , and follow signposts to Samoëns which is 20 minutes away.
• Option2: Exit A40 at exit no.15 exit and take the scenic drive up the signposted Vallee verte following the signs to Samoëns.

On entering Samoëns follow the signs for Sixt through the town, past the Fromagerie on your right, right at the T junction over the stream and straight on for 250m to take the 1st left to Vallon d’en bas. Drive along the windy village road until you see “L’ Hermitage” on your left. You have just gone past La vieille Ferme!

How to get here by train:

Eurostar (Waterloo to Paris), then Paris SNCF TGV to Cluses (4h 30min), and on to Samoëns by transfer 20km (please enquire for details).
